If you control a “Fire Formation” Spell/Trap Card, and no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand).
A nice new trick for Fire Fist decks, to help you keep applying the pressure to your opponent even when they deal with Bear or Gorilla, or (even better), to absorb removal that would have been used on them instead. It also helps Fire Fist players get over Thunder King, as mentioned in the article. Other than that though, it seems like a pretty simple card.
