Jump Festa 2013 Promo Review pt. 3
Yes, it's back again. I knew that after some time, I'd eventually think of other things you can do with this year's Jump Festa cards, or at least just see what other people are saying about them. So in this post, I'm going to cover more angles the cards can be approached from so we can get an even better picture of how good (or bad) they are. Let's get started!

Jump Festa 2013 Promo Review pt. 2
Here I am again! Let's go over these last four cards. As always, if you don't already know what they do or need a refresher, you can check here.

Jump Festa 2013 Promo Review pt. 1
One of the things I love the most about blogging is the freedom. Back when I was on Youtube consistently, I always felt constrained by viewcounts. But here, I feel like I can write about almost anything I want to, and today that means a review of the ten latest promos out in Japan. So let's get started!

Harpie Blackwing Deck Profile
I heard that the three new Harpie cards revealed from LTGY yesterday were ALREADY posted on Dueling Network, so I decided to whip this together for your viewing pleasure:

CBLZ Sneak Preview Promo Revealed
https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/381994_4386559496854_1544067917_n.jpg
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Noble_Arms_-_Caliburn
Not a bad card, not bad at all. If you somehow can't kill the monster holding this card for more than two turns, your opponent nets some serious life gain. Plus it just passes to another Noble Knight should it get destroyed, which is cool. I always love life effects that don't require you to go out of your way to get them, and this is great. +500 ATK is useful too!
Now for the negatives. 1. RELEASE MORE THAN ONE DAMN NOBLE KNIGHT CARD PER SET.
2. STOP MAKING THEM THE GOD DAMN PROMOS. That would be all.

CBLZ TCG News 1 - Fire Fist
Every time I write some filler, actual news comes out and then I look like a loser with no life because I posted multiple times in a row. :/
In another bit of Cosmo Blazer news, Konami has launched the TCG product page for the upcoming set - you can check it out here. (Whoo for finally taking the time to embed links!!!) They give you a brief intro to the Fire Fist that confirms their promo cards will be OCG additions to the TCG set release, but they will also update the page over time with more news. So bookmark the SHIT out of that shit (yep), and check it often.
ALSO, in very exciting news, I will be going to a tournament tomorrow! I'm very excited. Hopefully the past two weeks of grueling practice will have paid off and I will do well, but if not, at least we'll have another great story for the history books.

CBLZ Special Edition Promo Rumors, Missing Tournaments
Mkohl40 recently posted a video in which he found an image showing the two promos for the Cosmo Blazer (that's blazer with ONE a, not two) Special Edition: Wind-Up Shark and Blade Armor Ninja. These haven't been confirmed yet to the best of my knowledge, but they make sense. Although they aren't super expensive, neither card is exactly dirt cheap.
As I write this, on Troll and Toad a copy of Blade Armor will run you either $10.99 or $11.49, and Wind-Up Shark costs either $15.99 or $19.49. Shark is probably the most expensive card Wind-Ups have left; reprinting it would make them considered "budget" in the eyes of many more players, while Warrior type monsters are often fan-favorites and Blade Armor significantly boosts their power. Not to mention when the SE comes out, both of these cards will have been out for about a year - a typical timeframe for reprints. Keep in mind though that these are just RUMORS!
I haven't exactly had fun missing the past two local tournaments on 11/30/12 and 12/07/12, and it's looking like I'll be missing the one scheduled for this Friday (11/14/12) as well. I got some pretty horrific grades this semester; I'd be lucky to not get into a fistfight with my mom, let alone be able to use her car to drive seven miles to a tournament. I really can't deal with stupid stuff like this making my life worse right now, but it's not like it wasn't my fault that I did badly this semester. At least there's still time to return the books I rented before we incur fees. Sigh.

Duelist League 15 Full Spoiler
This is maybe one of the least relevant sets due to availability, but either way check it out:
http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=1096163
I don't have much experience with reviewing this type of set because honestly it's just too rare to care about. But I am happy with the following reprints:
Frost and Flame
Caius
Hamster
Salamandra
Wonder Wand
Five good ones out of 20 isn't bad...for Konami. Plus, the other cards not listed here aren't even that bad, so I could see this being an okay set if they would just give it out more often. But you gotta let the little kids have something too!
Adios!

2013 Zexal Tin (Premium Collection Sequel) Promos Announced
http://the808blog.com/2012/12/06/2013-zexal-collection-tin-announced/
So this set will supposedly have three Ultimate Rare promos (that come in each tin) and a set of 21 Supers and Ultras that get randomly pulled from for each tin (4 Ultras and 11 Supers for each tin).
Judging from the cover of the tin, Number 61: Volcasaurus and Radiant Photon Paradios are going to be in on the action. I'll tell you right now, if I see an Ultimate Rare Volcasaurus you guys can just go ahead and take me out of the oven because I WILL BE SO DONE.
I think it's safe to say that many of the cards in the set will be the new cards from the Yuma and Kaito Duelist Packs, so it'll be nice to see cards like Dododo Warrior and Lady Gaga's Shield finally released in America. I'm not exactly excited about the Kaito stuff coming out because for some reason a LOT of people have a fetish for Photon / Galaxy decks, and I just think they're so annoying to play against. They almost never even beat you, they just annoy you with pointless combos. I will admit that Photon Thrasher with Galaxy Knight into Galaxy Expedition is still a nice thing to witness, though.

Steelswarm Roach, Infernity Barrier, and Photon Strike Bounzer Reprints
http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/products/tin-2012w2-5_Prophecy.html
I wake up to about six videos in my Youtube stream about the same. damn. thing. Good ol' Youtube!
Although I am sad that this tin did not include any actual Prophecy cards as I thought it would, the cards it DOES include are an incredibly generous offering. At the time of this writing, the following cards cost this much (per Troll and Toad):
Roach: 32.99
Barrier: 28.99
Strike Bounzer: 34.99
These are just front-page prices, so there could be even higher ones on the actual sale pages, but either way you can see how big of a deal this is. So let's talk about the ramifications, shall we?
Two of the best Xyz Monsters are now available for common use. We didn't have to wait a full year for Strike Bounzer, but Roach will have been out for about a year and a half by the time the tin comes out. Unfortunately, this makes Infernities much easier to play, and as a result you should be prepared to see more of them in your local area. Personally, I'm almost too happy about Strike Bounzer to even give a damn about Infernities, but I swear if somebody plays that shit against me I'll have their head. XD (Especially if they win.)
This is ironic considering I played some stupid noob on DN earlier today who, among other things, didn't understand that chaining his set Call of the Haunted to my MST targeting it did not save it from being destroyed, didn't understand that sending his Inferntiy Necromancer to the grave for a Synchro Summon left my Fiendish Chain on the field meaninglessly, and didn't believe that summoning his monsters back with Infernity General negated their effects even though it clearly states this on the fucking card. Let's have a picture, shall we?
There just always has to be that one promo that nobody really needed but that is reprinted for our pals in Europe, i.e. Endless Decay. (This is probably the only publication you'll even see that mentions him, lollll. He's not even that bad of a card, really.) I swear if I was in charge, that shit would be fixed SO fast. Also, it's a bit weird that Konami revealed every promo on the same day compared to the slogfest of the previous tins. But whatever, I'm happy!

Locals Report 11/16/12
My second tournament at the new store! I made a large
number of changes based on my deck’s performance the previous week, but since I’m
writing this more than a week after the actual tournament’s conclusion I’m not
sure of the exact build I had. Nevertheless, here’s my best guess:

Locals Report 11/23/12
I just got back and I have a headache and my back is hurting (as per usual), so I'll try to make this short. Here's the build I used for this event, with the exception of Daigusto Phoenix being a Papilloperative irl:

Welcome to my blog!
There could be anywhere from two to five people who end up here for the first time because of my latest video - here is your official welcome. Feel free to follow/join with your accounts if you want! A lot of my posts on here will probably be short, but the main objective here is for me to keep this page running more consistently than my Youtube channel did in recent months. Hopefully blogging instead of making videos will allow me more time to focus both on school and getting competitively better at this game of gambles. If you have any questions about my channel or why I'm making this switch (or anything Yugioh-related at all) I'd love to answer them, so comment down below. Later!
