So it's been a few weeks or so since news first broke of the upcoming archetype known as Artifacts, and although the full information regarding their cards isn't out yet, I still wanted to jot down some quick thoughts about the deck.
When I saw this deck, I immediately fell in love with it. I've been looking for a Light attribute deck to fill an honorary position lately, and right now it seems like these guys might be perfect for the job. Not only are they extremely unique, they also might be the first deck to focus on Level 5 monsters and thus Rank 5 Xyz. The deck may seem amazing thanks to its Spell and Trap Cards (seriously, those things are fucking great), but it's important to note the problems that it'll have to contend with, like Light-Imprisoning Mirror, Macro Cosmos, Soul Drain, no normal summons, and Evilswarm. Because of this, it likely won't become a top-tier deck. Either way, I'm still pretty excited to play this deck and see what it has in store.
